2D & 3D Floor Plans
My favourite custom projects to do are digital 3D renderings of rooms as well as the 2D Realistic floor plans. Here are some examples and inspiration for the custom projects I do.
It also shows the step by step process that I go through when I create my 3D and 2D floor plan renderings.
There are so many more I could include as well, feel free to contact me if you'd like more details or information about any of the projects shown.
FAIR OAK
FARM
These are some of the floorplans I made for Fair Oak Farm. Let me know your favourite.
Colour or Not?
Want to show detail?
This is probably shown more when the coloured options is shown however this isn't always the case.
Want it to match your colour branding?
Depending on your colours and the colours in your buildings either could work better for you. If you're unsure about you colours changing in the future the black and white lined version would be the safest option.

Either way you'll work out what works for you. If you're still unsure you can get both, I offer to send both files through at a discount, just let me know.
"How do you show multiple floors?"
When they're all full floors I'll stack them in the order they come.

When they're Mezzanine floors such as this one. to show this I fade out the bottom floor which highlights the top.

STEP 1
BASIC OUTLINE
During the first step I do loads and loads of really rough sketches and then I get to this point, like i've shown above, where I do a nicer final lined piece.
This usually takes the longest because its where I have to get the basics all perfect and the perspective and angles right. I usually do the same image from lots of different angles until I'm happy. So it can take quite a while.

STEP 2
BASIC BACKGROUND COLOURS
This part is so satisfying to get done and to watch after on my time-lapses.

Once i've got all the colours and shades right then this part goes by really quickly. I always love the abstract look of this even without the final details, I'm always tempted to just leave it at this stage :)
STEP 3
FINAL DETAILS
The final step often varies quite a bit in how long it takes me to complete. It often changes with what project I'm doing.
Its so nice to look at it once it's all finished and so it's really cool to be able to see my vision actually on paper. It also helps to show an in-depth projection of what the actual room would look like; it's easier to see exactly what it'll look like in person.
